About Department of Dramatic Arts

The Department of Dramatic Arts is one of the academic departments of the College of Fine Arts. The department was established in 1985 AD. The department provides several academic programs to qualify students to work in various fields of dramatic art such as: acting, directing, criticism, dramatic writing, decoration design, lighting design and other technical disciplines in the fields of dramatic work. The department grants a bachelor’s degree In the following majors: BA in Acting and Directing, BA in Design and Performance Techniques, and BA in Criticism and Dramatic Writing. Within a study plan, the student studies several courses spanning eight semesters. After successful completion, the student obtains a bachelor's degree in the specialization that the student chooses.
