On August 16th, 2018, at the main meeting hall of Tripoli University, at 12 noon, the University Council held its first emergency meeting, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Nabeel Al-Natah, President of Tripoli University, in the presence of the university's deputies, the deans of the faculties and the president of the student union. The university president welcomed the attendees and thanked them  for their efforts in enhancing the success of the work of the committees responsible for conducting the secondary certificate exams. The meeting, also, discussed a number of items, including the preparations for the reception of the students of the second round of high school diploma. Furthermore, the meeting discussed the capacity of each faculty to accept new students along unifying the date of starting and finishing the next  semester for all faculties within the university.
