Scientific lecture titled "The Groundwater Level Phenomenon in Zliten City"

On the morning of Wednesday, 22 May 2024, a scientific lecture titled "The Groundwater Level Phenomenon in Zliten City" was held at the Rashid Kaabar Auditorium.

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Khaled Rashed, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tripoli, and attended by Prof. Khaled Oun, President of the University, accompanied by deans of faculties, alongside a group of specialists and representatives from various oil companies, as well as students of the Faculty.

This lecture focused on:

  • Diagnosing the phenomenon from a geophysical and geological perspective,

  • Analyzing its causes,

  • Examining its impacts on humans and the environment.

    The event concluded with audience interventions and discussions, resulting in practical recommendations that will be referred to relevant authorities.
